The gold in Rock Creek

My pal Larry and I were deep in eastern Whitman County when a horseman told us about a very remote bridge crossing on Rock Creek. I came back a couple weeks later to search for it on foot, and finally found it. The golden wash is from sunlight illuminating the cliff above the creek.
