The sky you and I share

IIt’s hard to express the depth of grief and confusion I was experiencing the day this celestial sunset unfolded above me as I was traveling alone in eastern Franklin County, near the Snake River. In a matter of moments it just felt as though the unbearable weight I’d been carrying for months had been lifted from my heart. I felt embraced by something much larger than I could imagine. And then I took its picture.
