Another way to leave

The deep purple lupine near the Spokane-Lincoln County line is the large leaf variety, and it seems to bloom just as the arrowleaf balsamroot peaks. This is along the old Sprague highway, and with all due respect to the interstate highway system, it’s just a better way to leave Spokane County.
