A friend of mine, a Buddhist minister, recommended a book entitled “Radical Acceptance” when she couldn’t help but notice my battered spirits. From this I learned that one way to metabolize grief is to at least try make peace with the vortex of human emotions. It’s not that easy, and the whirlpool doesn’t sleep. At times, I’m able to capture at least a visual metaphor for this exercise with my camera. This is one of those, from a creek above Liberty Lake.
